About: Readers of all ages and walks of life have drawn inspiration from Elizabeth Gilberts books for years. Now, this beloved author shares her wisdom and unique understanding of creativity, shattering the perceptions of mystery and suffering that surround the process ? and showing us all just how easy it can be.

By sharing stories from her own life, as well as those from her friends and the people that have inspired her, Elizabeth Gilbert challenges us to embrace our curiosity, tackle what we most love and face down what we most fear.

Whether you long to write a book, create art, cope with challenges at work, embark on a long-held dream, or simply to make your everyday life more vivid and rewarding, Big Magic will take you on a journey of exploration filled with wonder and unexpected joys.

My Thoughts: This book in no where close to being ‘Just another self help book sort’. However, for anyone who looks forward to dose of inspiration will love this book for the way it chats with you about everything that takes what it takes to pursue your dreams. The book is special in ways that the reader would enjoy this book in bits instead of a one long sitting. Every aspect needs introspection that comes naturally with the book. Unless the reader has paused the world around and just seeking good time with a book, then  this book will grow slowly into you as you reflect upon the tiny bits of magic (more like fairydust) that are spread across this book as inspiration.

A lot of creative people ask for a PUSH. Others don’t like to be told what to do. Well, Big Magic is for the latter. A simple read that just might end up changing the way you think, turning your thoughts towards the positive. If words aren’t magic, I don’t know what else ever can be!

My Favourite parts in the book: Let your fears be a part of your roadtrip, ‘coz that is something that would anyway hang around. But never let it take the steering in hand as you drive and enjoy your roadtrip to the desired destination!

Gilbert’s words on fear in creative process are something I will be living by for the rest of my life. Can’t be thankful enough!

Going to stay on my Bookshelf? Yes. This book i more inspiring than any I’ve read in a long time. Just having the book sitting on bookshelf brings in positive vibes.

I gifted this book to my sister and every now and then she calls me to share the wonders in the book she found. Highly recommended to anyone who is exploring their inner creative side. Also, while writing a post on this book, I had fear gripping me if I could do justice to the book, but here it goes. A must book for us, who find inspiration in tiny bits of life…
