My Thoughts: To begin with…when this book came to me, I was unsure & thought that I might have a tuff time expressing my thoughts about the book since I am not a parent. True, I know many ‘new’ parents having done Couple, Maternity & Kids Sessions. Hence, the in-depth conversations with them have certainly given me a great idea. But somewhere I still thought it would be difficult to be able to relate with this book.
To my utter delight (and relief – since this is the first book review I am posting on my Blog – Instagram personal experiences aside), I was hooked on to this book and fell in love instantly while reading the preface itself. I can’t deny the fact that I love this book for the flawless conversational style of writing that Shunali has incorporated from the very first page. I knew in an instant that this infact is going to be a great read & I would be recommending it to all the wonderful parents out there.
As a parent… all of them at some point are unsure of their parentage owing to the behaviour of their kids. Some fear how they would be as a parent even before they are expecting. Others have terrible nightmares. This book has it all. A true and detailed account on every possible thought one might have. I am Shunali’s fan after reading this!
My Favorite parts in the book : The entire book!
Going to stay on my Bookshelf? Yes! And I am going to read it pretty often myself. I have already placed order for three more books to gift. One each for a new mom, a teenager’s mom & someone I know who is on the planning stage.
