About: Feyre is a huntress.
She thinks nothing of slaughtering a wolf to capture its prey. But, like all mortals, she fears what lingers mercilessly beyond the forest. And she will learn that taking the life of a magical creature comes at a high price.
Imprisoned in an enchanted court in her enemy’s kingdom, Feyre is free to roam but forbidden escape. Her captor’s body bears the scars of fighting, and his face is always masked – but his piercing stare draws her ever closer. As Feyre’s feelings for Tamlin begin to burn through every warning she’s been told about his kind, an ancient, wicked shadow grows. Feyre must find a way to break a spell, or lose her heart forever.

My Thoughts: The highly anticipated book after “Throne of Glass” series by Sarah J. Maas is the whole new world of magic and ultimate adventure i.e. “A Court of Thorn and Roses”. This book is an adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, so as a reader – I have truly loved the creative changes in the book.
I walked into the book with high expectations and it was beyond fulfilling until the very end. Truly outdid it!
Most crucial parts of the book are fantastically done which makes it an instant page turner. I did struggle to adapt to a completely new world, however, it was a pure pleasure of reading as the chapters ahead unfolded the mysteries of old beliefs of the fiction world. It blows up my mind how the entire fiction world has been beautifully developed by the author.

Since it is retelling of the “Beauty & the Beast” it will be a fabulous read for anyone who might want to explore an adapted yet unforeseen story unfold.

My Favourite parts in the book: I have highly grown fond of ‘Rhysand’ High Lord of the Night Court and can’t wait to see how the following series unfold.

Going to stay on my Bookshelf? Yes! This one book I would love to re-read even thought it is over 400 pages in tiny text.
